Поддержим Han Kwang-ho из Южной Кореи в его борьбе за Korean Metal Workers' Union

Лого

Friday marks 100 days since 41-year-old Han Kwang-ho, a union organizer at a Hyundai auto supplier in South Korea, committed suicide. Han, an elected official for a branch of the Korean Metal Workers' Union, suffered five years of intimidation, repression and attacks in retaliation for his trade union activities at YooSung Enterprise, a key supplier for Hyundai Motor Company.

New evidence has revealed that Hyundai conspired with YooSung Enterprise and a labour management consulting firm to crush the union at Han's factory. Their extensive and aggressive anti-union campaign began in 2011 and continues to this day. According to Korean unions, Hyundai has also led union busting at its other suppliers.

Working together with IndustriALL global union, LabourStart has today launched a major online campaign demanding that Hyundai stop union busting now.
